Isophine Carnett

	Isophine Carnett, 91, of Harrisburg, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, February 17, 2002 at Ferrell Hospital.
	Mrs. Carnett was a homemaker and a member of Sulphur Springs Missionary Baptist Church.  She was one of the first members of the Harrisburg Golden Circle.
	She was born February 25, 1910 at Equality, Ill., the daughter of D.M. and Ollie Ann (Patton) Woods.  She married James E. Carnett Sr. and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1956.
	Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Philip (Ollie) Brown of Raleigh; son, James E. and Elfriede Carnett of DuQuoin; brother, Harry Woods of Godfrey; grandchildren, Tim Brown of Stonefort, Janice Cantrell of Equality, Sylvia Carnett of DuQuoin, Cyndie Cook of Eldorado and Patricia Wright of DuQuoin and 11 great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; stepdaughter, Thelma Prather; sisters, Edna Ruth Bullard, Anna Belle Crest and Eva Gulley and four brothers, Everett Woods, Logan Woods, Ralph Woods and Roscoe Woods.
	Funeral services were Wednesday, February 20 at 1 p.m. at J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Jones officiating.  Interment was in Jones Cemetery in Equality.
	Friends called at J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
